Hello everyone!
Pecha Kucha? I have heard about such kind of presentation for the first time in my life. 20 slides 20 seconds for each of them. It sounded complicated at first, but now it appears to me to be the best and the most productive way of presenting anything.
I was working on Pecha Kucha together with Vika (Viktoriia Nikitina ;-). We enjoyed the process of making our presentation on the Russian language in the EU soo much. Ar first we thought that 20 seconds was too little to say something meaningful, but we changed our mind immediately, once we discovered that it was possible to deliver four complete lines within this time. Moreover, the structure of Pecha Kucha requires that the information is very well chosen and processed; so, there is no time to waste time actually :) Furthermore, 20 slides is more than enough, the timing is perfect and, what is the most important, the presentation itself is not too long and there is not enough tome to get bored by it.
Me and Vika were satisfied with the result. Judging from the feedback given by our groupmates, our presentation was interesting and funny. Especially they liked the pictures, we have created based on Russian cartoons. Thank you, guys, for feedback!
Have I to make a presentation next time, I will definitely use Pecha Kucha.
